He’s funny in the way the jerk in high school is funny. Take off his shirt and scream at 3:00 am funny. Fill the bus with foul air and laugh like he’s witty funny.

That's why he's funny but he's not a jerk. He's a nice guy that's just a typical jock. It's funny. If you don't get it, whatever. Comedy is subjective.
