You know Brooklyn? Now home of thousands of liberal hipsters?
Brooklyn alone created more jobs than all of upstate in the last 10 years. More than Buffalo, Syracuse. Utica, Rochester etc...COMBINED.
We should put out a sign that says “liberal hipsters welcomed.”

What would bring a hipster to WNY? What economic incentives? WNY has a great legacy of tech innovation and manufacturing, as well as being a Great Lakes hub. Anyway to authentically revitalize that?

Brooklyn and Erie county both have 4.1% unemployment rates. New York City has a higher population than the rest of the state so you’d expect more jobs to be created there. I moved out of NY27 after college. I miss the people but it’s great not paying NY tax rates!
