A local talk show host said that “Boomer” is the “N-word” of ageism. 😬 There is a lot to unpack here, none of it good.
First, neither Boomer nor any other slur invokes the traumatic history of the “N-word.”
i.e., when fumbling with your iPhone, “Need help Boomer?” means zip.

But the generation was always known as "baby boomers" because of the post-WW2 baby boom! Always called boomers! Why on earth is that term being weaponized? It's like weaponizing "refrigerator"!
