I keep hearing that Democrats should stop talking about things like WEALTH TAX because it might scare votes off. Well, if you have $50 million in assets and fear a tax of 2 cents, go ahead. Vote for someone else. All 25 of you. The vast rest of us will make things better

Germany, Finland, Denmark, France and a host of other countries have moved away from a wealth tax and use a VAT. I theory a wealth tax sounds great, but is different to implement. We should learn from others past practices.

The income tax was only supposed to be 10% of income of the top 10% of earners when introduced in 1916. A wealth tax is a lever that will impoverish your children.
