13 yr olds hold jobs and pay taxes. Taxation without representation...

13 year old living at parents. Doesn’t buy own food, doesn’t pay rent or utilities, most likely doesn’t do own laundry. Sure, they get how the world works. Please.

One of the main problems with the voting system is asking people uneducated on issues vote for candidates who are also uneducated Lowering the voting age will not fix this.

And age of consent. And age of purchasing a firearm. And age of being able to exercise contracts. And age able to be charged as an adult. And age of being drafted to the military. I’m all for voting but there’s a reason people aren’t handed privileges until they’re 18.
