Test positivity rates are slightly lower than the summer peak and considerably lower than the spring peak, but the trajectory is very bad, it's getting colder, nobody is locking down, and the European data is fairly frightening.

We are testing a lot more now than we were in April. In spring, you had to have symptoms to get a test in a lot of places. I did a test yesterday at a CVS drive-thru because I have a stuffy nose.
