Used numpy.vectorize when I just wanted map. Was punished. (What is numpy.vectorize(lambda i: a[i])(s) for a = [.5, .1, 0], s=[2, 1, 1, 0]?)
@kaushik_ghose Yep. It also works if s[0] != 2. Imagine my surprise when slightly different values of s behaved so differently!
