Conjecture: keyboard shortcuts increase productivity not so much by increasing speed as by facilitating continuous attention.
@Ontario_Tory Sure. I just think motion-elimination is way overrated as a component of the productivity gain.

@denizkural@Ontario_Tory Right. My point is that those (# seconds saved) * (repetitions per year) calculations are somewhat misguided.
