That is so true Marc. Draw, Stud, then limit hold em were the main game, and now no limit for the past 20 yrs. I still do not understand why it hasn’t happened. To me, 4-card PLO is far and away the best, most interesting, & enjoyable game. Thankfully it is played in some places.
I agree it's a great game! Casual players who try PLO (i) get really confused, (ii) lose a lot, and (iii) constantly get sucked out on. I think that goes a long way to explaining why it has not displaced, and will never ever displace, NLHE. (Hat tip to Limon for some of that.)
