OTOH, I've gotten more engagement on my two recent book promo tweets than they did on any of theirs (this prolly goes without saying, but my promo tweets were unsolicited) Maybe I get more engagement since I'm more credible since I don't clutter my twitter with promotional spam?
I'm guessing that your audience overlaps heavily with the "cares about their human capital in a way that causes them to snap-buy any book they reasonably believe to be worth the time" crowd.
