(2) More contrarian still: I'm not sure that the marginal thought *should* be captured! I've recently gone through a bunch of old notes / journal entries / etc. They're *terrible*! Awful! At least when they're not closely tied to something I was already engaged in. [3/N]

Which for me is all the more reason to have project- / context-sensitive capture methods. That "catch-all" / default category, divorced from anything I've been thinking about in a sustained way already, is just very unlikely to capture anything profound. [4/N]
