I disagree with @tylercowen here. This way overemphasizes how much of the value of a career's output lies in (merely) capturing one's particular genius. I find it nearly impossible to believe that Keats, with another fifty years, would have produced more output reflecting fundamentally the same genius. But even if he would have, imagine having another 100 such odes and 250 such sonnets!
