Also, IME, people who believe this also believe (massively inconsistently) that public schools, and especially those in conservative regions, indoctrinate students with *conservative* views.
Maybe it's too conservative for them but still not conservative enough for certain religious folks, or conservative in the wrong kinds of ways?
Matt do you actually have data to back up your claim? I know a few progressive home schoolers myself but that’s because they are much more dominant in my existing networks. My sense is that, overall, home schoolers do lean on the conservative side of the spectrum but curious!
