      Ha, I could also have this answer. I had watched some Aikman beforehand but Peete played several games as a backup one of those 90s years. Better answer would be Steve Buerlein, I guess.

      Looking back at this list of Lions QBs, although I think of myself as having been a baseball guy first I find it evokes Lots of Feelings. Probably more than a list of Tigers cleanup hitters or whatever.

      As a non-Detroiter, Lions fans were always my favorite. Tigers fans were solid, for sure, but there’s something about the persistent degree of misery that made Lions fans endearing. (Wings fans on the other end of the spectrum, of course. Pistons fans somewhere in between.)
