I never go to stores anymore, but 2 y/o shoes are impossible online. ...and you know you are smack in a store’s (DSW, in this case) core demo when their music choice is slightly (then) risqué pop songs from your teen years. All the other mid-30s moms knew the Scrubs lyrics, too.
Was just talking a couple days ago about knowing I’m in target demographics by seeing my childhood and adolescence repackaged and celebrated... I’m not used to it yet. (Also, it will be interesting to explain to my son how edgy it was in 1999 to make fun of low-status men.)
