Do a quick Google search of “are men more competitive than women?” and every source on the first page says men are more competitive even before getting into deeper reasons why. Of course, this doesn’t mean women are any less capable. Conjecture you say?
I've read a lot more than a quick Google search on the subject and entirely stand behind my first comment.
