      What's your opinion on Mo Willems books? The kids we're visiting now have loads of them and I shudder when they ask me to read one.

      Our 3 yr old likes so we used some of his gift money on the whole(?) series. I find the series better than many books we randomly pick at the library, and worse than some of the classics. But what do I know?

      Mostly I just don't like reading them. Like, Dr Seuss or Llama Llama I enjoy reading, and MW I very much do not.

          I’m finding quite a bit of joy that poker Twitter is overlapping with children’s book twitter as I hold my 8 month old so he naps while family is over for a late Christmas celebration.

          It's amazing how many of them are completely awful. Like, I really can't see how they even got published. (In addition to the ones that are awful but it's easy to see how they got published because they feature characters from some stupid show).
