      What's your opinion on Mo Willems books? The kids we're visiting now have loads of them and I shudder when they ask me to read one.

      Our 3 yr old likes so we used some of his gift money on the whole(?) series. I find the series better than many books we randomly pick at the library, and worse than some of the classics. But what do I know?

      Mostly I just don't like reading them. Like, Dr Seuss or Llama Llama I enjoy reading, and MW I very much do not.

      For some reason, I’m not a big fan of Seuss. But that’s better than the same construction vehicle books for the 1000th time.

      I still really like Dr. Seuss, but I see those books *very* differently having spent a lot of time thinking about the mass implicit belief that the greatest hits of the 1950s constitute the truest and best face of America.
