Good choice, from many to choose from that year, possibly my favorite year in film during which I’ve been alive.
I couldn't possibly judge 1999 in film objectively; I have too many memories of those movies, and it stands out mostly as a year where I actually saw a lot of movies (most years I don't). I was surprised to read through the list and see just how many memorable movies there were.
