    ATAGI has always said AZ can be used in people under 60 years if the person has made an informed decision. The assertion that the UK bans people from under 40 from getting AstraZeneca is 💯 wrong

    The guidelines we’re following from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) and the Australian Medical Association are clear. Even the UK Government won’t allow their under 40s to get the AstraZeneca vaccine. Please follow the health advice.

    This is not correct. UK gov allows under 40s to get AZ if they wish. Pfizer/Moderna are the preferred options
