    NEW: Mariia Butina has been sentenced to 18 months in prison (9 with credit for time served) for conspiring to act as an agent of a foreign government, in this case Russia, and when she's done with that sentence she'll be tossed from the U.S. reports.

    Roger Stone might have the best chance at seeing more of the report. He's mounted a legal bid to see the unredacted document as he heads toward a trial this fall on charges that he lied to Congress and obstructed their Russia probe.

  12. Rosenstein complained last night about Comey briefing Congress on the counterintelligence probe into Trump’s associates. But as points out, Rosenstein wouldn’t have been confirmed had that briefing not happened.

  20. Just in: Judge in Maria Butina case won't strike a declaration by a former FBI counterintelligence official outlining how damaging her activities were to US national security. This is a blow to Butina's lawyers, who had moved to exclude that declaration. Sentencing is tomorrow.
