Can one journalist please ask the Prime Minister why he has once again failed deaf people with another inaccessible briefing, with no British Sign Language interpreter? The press should be holding the Government’s feet to the fire over this shambles.

Love that the BBC clearly realised that a ban on so-called 'virtue-signalling' would logically include banning the wearing of poppies, and simply concluded that poppies are special, actually

A new game called WALNUT PARTY. YOU WILL NEED: A walnut tree with ripe walnuts. THE AIM: Collect walnuts whilst avoiding other walnuts falling on you but also whilst keeping track of where the falling walnuts land. How many walnuts can you collect??

This idea that all people who need to shield should just be able to shield so everyone else can get on with their lives is so ableist I cannot. People who are vulnerable to COVID deserve to get around and about too, you know? Maybe if everyone was less damn selfish.

I do not wish to read another story anout "geniuses" & how they spent their time w/out the corresponding info about who was doing their cooking & cleaning. Someone compile that into a book (if they haven't already) & call it "Who was cooking for Darwin?"

These adverts on TV asking for cash for Mind et al. Where are the adverts for people who have SMI & need specialist & inpatient support. I worry the money goes to low-medium need & SMI sees none of it. We need charities for high needs / SMI.

I sometimes think about how self care became less about mutual aid and more about scented candles and bubble baths and it’s really upsetting me and my homies.

We are so excited today to launch our research for the Status of Young Women in Scotland 2020 report. This year we’re focusing on the employment experiences of young women, with a focus on their circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are multiple, brightly coloured illustrations of women's faces against a pink background. Text in a purple box in the centre reads "#SYWS20"

“To that end,” the statement continues, “we say: non-binary people are non-binary, trans women are women, trans men are men, trans rights are human rights.” “Your pronouns matter. You matter. You are loved.” Hundreds of literary professionals have signed on to the open letter

I’m going to say it. People are being put at risk by the way people with experience of mental health problems and attempted suicide are expected to tell their stories. There is pressure to have a neat ending. For people to be rescued by any help they had. To not need help again.

1/ Every so often, I re-read this harrowing yet inspiring interview with Benjamin Ferencz, the last living prosecutor of the Nuremberg trials. He is someone who looked at the very worst that human beings could do and still found a way to push forward.
