Nope. As you know, the Antiquities Act was passed by Congress & signed by T Roosevelt in 1906. It's been on the books for over 100 years and used dozens of times. It preserved national treasures like Grand Cyn, Death Valley and Arches. There's nothing undemocratic about it.

This is a lie. The public overwhelmingly supported the existing national monuments (see the DOI comments). In a democracy, this would mean that the monuments would be preserved. In reality, the president destroyed the monuments to repay a political favor to Utah delegation.

Isn't that what's going to happen with drilling in the Artic Wildlife Refuge?

The native american tribes would disagree, in the case of Bears Ears National Monument. But of course, your "democracy" is whites-only.

This account and “committee” is apparently only here to spread propaganda to justify rape and pillaging of protected lands.

Again, if you’re so concerned with listening to locals, why did you get rid of Planning 2.0 at the BLM? That was designed to get more public input. You sure you’re not doing this for industry friends and not locals?

You people are owned by the Oil and gas and extraction companies you intend to lease the formerly protected lands to--to frack, drill and open pit mine. Why don't you just be honest and say what the rest of us already know--you're a bunch of crooks.

It is NOT time to limit the Antiquities Act! What are you thinking?

What's undemocratic is doing something the vast majority of Americans disapprove of, and asked you NOT to do.
