They are already compensated for this through the Payments In Lieu of Taxes (PILT) law. This is a solution with no problem. What are trying to sneak through?

large amounts of Federal Land, is not the reason for decreased 'resources' in education funding. We have PILT, increase it if needed. An increase in extraction of natural resources/energy on Public Lands is not a positive direction..EVEN IF it is disguised as "education funding"
