No it just qualifies as a mystery. For example, for most of human history we did not know microbes caused illness, this doesn't mean illness is paranormal (although it frequently was viewed as such until we found out the cause). Absence of an explanation =/= paranormal.

saw one when I was three at an outdoor movie when suddenly there was a red orange ball size of a

Only saw it once, mid 1970's. Was purple in colour with sparkly edges. Lasted about 10 seconds, about 1 foot across, Something you just don't forget.
