A dump truck delivers it to the site. 3 front loaders and a bobcat, and one guy with a shovel, were at work there spreading it yesterday, during the inspection.
I should have phrased my Q better. I was wondering if they can drive on that side or were somehow putting it over the top. So much bank eroded, they have to essentially build a road on unpackable, wet sand on S side. I'm imagining a FEL tipped over into the river...get pix!
a vehicle--like a Border Patrol truck--could NOT drive on that side as it was. It was dangerous to walk it. Now they are filling and packing cautiously with the frontloaders and bobcat, moving mountains of sand on to the wet sandy "beach" that will wash out and away, again.
