      Clearly you have not understood his 3 mi section of wall WILL NOT CONNECT TO ANYTHING. It will effectively serve as a freestanding modern art sculpture...so, how does that provide America proper protection. Oh, and you might want to revisit 3rd grade Science.

      Why do people put up a fence around their house? They do it to protect their property. I doubt people put up fences around their house for 3.5 miles (18,480 feet). It'll be substantial in stopping trucks from driving into the Rio Grande, that's 1st grade science.
