No, but they have spoken out against the zero tolerance family separation, and they believe in private property rights, which apparently our president, our governor and other elected officials do not.

Maybe. I don't know. A coalition of right & left to defend RGV's remaining natural areas could only be for good. Habitat preservation a more broadly compelling argument than property rights? Both important, of course, but extinctions, etc., irreparable.
