Unfortunately, most Americans understand our politicians lie. We've been conditioned not to believe anything they say while campaigning, esp. Who could've imagined Congress would be complicit in something this expensive, inefficient & egregious, after a decade of lessons learned?
Again, seriously? Across the country, oeople (who have employers) write op-eds every day... Anger toward our ORGANIZATION is MISDIRECTED. CAN WE MAKE THAT ANY CLEARER??

The author of the op-ed didn’t write the line “Who could've imagined Congress would be complicit in something this expensive, inefficient & egregious, after a decade of lessons learned?” You did. And when I replied upthread, that was what I was responding to. Not the op-ed.

Congress IS complicit. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the elected officials in BOTH parties who voted for the 2018 omnibus Appropriations Act. It's true. Would you rather WE lie?

PEOPLE ARE NOT ANGRY AT YOU BECAUSE OF THE OP ED. THEY ARE ANGRY AT HOW YOU HAVE BEEN REACTING, FROM THIS ACCOUNT, SINCE IT WAS PUBLISHED. THAT IS WHERE YOU FUCKED UP - YOU, NOT YOUR MAN WHO WROTE THE OP-ED. And...I'm done. If you still can't see it you never will.
