Hey,
@NatButterflies, apparently one of your people didn’t think the leopard would eat THEIR face.4 replies 15 retweets 330 likes -
Unfortunately, most Americans understand our politicians lie. We've been conditioned not to believe anything they say while campaigning, esp. Who could've imagined Congress would be complicit in something this expensive, inefficient & egregious, after a decade of lessons learned?

I know I frequently vote for people who go against my deep-held conservation beliefs because...no, wait, I don’t, that would be absurd.

Anyway, if you think that WaPo article makes people sympathetic to the butterfly cause, I fear you do not understand how people work.

It is an Op-ed from one of our employees. In America, we have protected 1st Amendment rights, so he is free to express himself. If only Congress and our courts recognized the rest of our protected rights and did not waive them with 28 laws for this awful project.

Nobody’s saying it’s illegal. I’m saying it was a stupid idea.

As if no organization ever had an employee do something "stupid" that threatens to destroy the organization. See the flaw in in the "screw you" position? We can't hire or fire based upon political affiliation in this country. Luciano is talented, hard working competent & honest.

There are a million worthy causes right now. You are trying to convince people that you’re one of them. It doesn’t matter if the “screw you” position has flaws, most people aren’t going to sit and contemplate that, they’re gonna go “oh, screw that guy” and go on to another cause.

We hope that doesn't happen. Luciano has the freedom to speak his mind. Perhaps his message will resonate with hundreds of thousands--perhaps millions--who also voted for Trump & will never do so, again. Anger toward our ORGANIZATION is misdirected. We hope you'll reconsider.
