I'd just name a creature that doesn't exist lol. When you play Alaric for the first time, reveal your hand, an opponent chooses another creature maybe?
Unless you have discard, that's pretty crippling. You either keep that card in your hand for the rest of the game or both are exiled/removed from game.
It's also a six-mana a removal spell if the creature you want to remove is on the field already. He enters play, they both are exiled. Or prevents them from playing said card until he is dealt with.
Cards are generally designed around standard play where everybody knows the card pool. So you to either name a card you're worried about in the archetype deck that they're playing or a card you know isn't there so that it can stay on the field forever.
