I had an accountant do mine last week I just needed to actually file them - My first year and I'll never go back to doing them on my own
How much work do you do when you have an accountant do them? I spend a full day or two collecting, recording, and adding up all of my expenses from receipts and emails, then send that information to my tax lady, but I don't know how right that is or how professional she is!

I mean thats about right - I sent them all of my info (just in a spreadsheet though, with the actual receipts in a box filed in case they ask) and then my 1099's/w2s and he does the rest

I do about the same. I don't give them all the receipts cuz they really just care about the numbers. But I do give my guy a doc with a breakdown of all my expenses and the totals for each category. I give them too much money each year for them to want to audit me lol
