Thoughts on streamers who use their own emotes in other streamer's chats the first time they're in the chat? Partner or affiliate.

I yell at people when their checkmark is off... LOL. I like KNOWING that someone is a partner, I can choose to follow/stalk if they're cool
In my experience, nobody follows you just from having a checkmark and talking in a new chat. People don't care unless the streamer cares

For me, I just like that I can be a viewer in channels, never about hiding partnership. I don't see it as advertising, just a preference

I also had my channel go through a lot so maybe subconsciously not feeling i "deserved" to have it. But that's a WHOLE other thing haha

I didn't have mine on right away, I was honestly scared of people giving me a hard time about it. But I changed my mind and am happy now :)

I experienced that - people questioning my follow count, don't deserve it but x person does etc. Ultimately for me, it's just preference
