Not sure how I feel about streamers putting #charity in titles for this Extra Life event on Twitch. It is conflicting, because its not 100%.

Twitch is donating $2 for every 1k bits. The streamer does not give anything, but they put
#charity in their title with no explanation.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

It's a reminder to viewers, since you have to put
#charity in your cheer message for it to go towards charity :)1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

You'd be surprised at how many people forget, even after already doing it!

I know it is a reminder, but that does not mask the fact that folks are making money with charity as their guise.

It still feels wrong in a way. At least, for me it feels wrong.

I don't think anyone who doesn't usually support with $ is cheering JUST because of it. It's an added bonus, a bit of incentive if you will~

Also, some streamers are encouraging people to buy bits instead of donating. Which, again, targets the same people who'd already throw money
