Sounds like Bruschetta! Try a small splash of balsamic vinegar as well, I made my own olive oil last time and had olives and feta cheese :)

It's not served on the bread, the tomatoes are sliced and seasoned, then eaten. The bread drowning comes after :P I hate olives

A classic. You wanna try something interesting? toast bread lightly, mayo, tomato, slice of cheese on top , then in the oven a few minutes.

I prefer bread - avocado - tomato - egg - salt - oven. Not big on mayo or cheese :)
