I went with PRK. Nowadays, it has various benefits over LASIK and should be the same cost, but has a longer healing time.
Chose the best place around. Op cost 3100, 500-700 for post-ops, and 150-300 for 2-3 months of eye drops. All prices in CAD

Recovery slightly frustrating but I didn't skimp on lubricating drops (some skimp due to the cost) so it's healing really well!

I wake up every day filled with gratitude and wonder. I haven't fully recovered and it's already worth every cent.
