Looking for a mythical beast of a headset with a **good** mic that doesn't require an amp. Is it a lost cause?

@NaomiWasTaken why are you looking for a good headset mic? They all are pretty bad.
@turbo_57 There exist good headsets that cost around what my headphones and mic did together. But a new, better mic might be the right way.
