Fellow ADHDers, a question: It's anxiety inducing to have a to-do list that seems endless and more urgent by the day. But... do you ever get *more* anxious once you start accomplishing things and crossing them off, like you're not doing enough, or you ruined/missed something?

100% the exact same, its why anxiety and ADHD is such a big pain in the ass combined.

I feel this quite a bit. Lists help me out quite a bit, but when make them and when I check stuff off that list I have to check it or go over it in my head because I feel like I'll have missed something for sure even if I haven't. I hope that feeling lessens for you though!

Absolutely, had some important documents to finish and drop off for a job application and even after getting it done I was filled with this feeling that there was something important I had forgotten.

Definitely. My manifestation is usually "wait this feels too easy, maybe I should've spent my time doing something more important".

100%, for even some of the smallest things. I know I invariably forget something, and the resulting anxiety just kills me.

Whenever I start accomplishing things if I don't keep doing the other things on my list faster or better I start to get anxious

SAME. It's like once you start to remove things from the list... you must now remove EVERYTHING, IMMEDIATELY, or you're doing it wrong

I don’t have ADHD but my close friends who have it suffer this same issue. Sometimes they will not do anything because the anxiety of missing something or messing something up is greater than not doing it at all.
