      This is probably a controversial take but I would trust a neurodivergent person with a hyperfixation on neurodivergence and neurodiversity more than any mainstream neurotypical medical professional when it comes to understanding ADHD.

      I have something like that on a smaller scale! I had to write up a document with all the adult ADHD diagnostic criteria and where my experiences/traits aligned with them to get access to diagnosis. I send that document, to anyone who needs it as an example/template.
