Can people who meal prep please explain to me how your brain lets you eat the same thing more than once? I'm not even a big fan of leftovers because I just hate eating the same meal more than once a week

Comfort of routine. Have you ever had the same breakfast multiple days a week because you get used to making it quickly? Oatmeal or scrambled eggs or cereal or pbj. Same energy

Well, if you genuinely can't stand it, then no point in trying to force yourself! Otherwise it's discipline. It's less leftovers and more just a very regulated menu when you prep, you can change it every week so that you have the new thing to look forward to for the next week
