Twitch removed the tag "Blind Playthrough", some people thank them for being progressive, some blind ppl say "DON'T SPEAK FOR ME." Some ppl call to boycott Cyberpunk because it hurts the trans community, some trans folx said "NO IT DOESN'T HURT ME." And everybody has a point.

wait..what was wrong with Blind Playthrough? It just means you're going in with no prior knowledge of the game

Using "blind" in that sense is ableist. You can say 'first playthrough' and it gets the same idea across without using the word "blind."

You can be doing a first playthrough but are accepting help, using a guide, or coming in with knowledge from other creators or videos you've watched. Then it's not the same as what a "blind" playthrough typically entails. Which terms would you suggest to differentiate? :)

I don't feel like this question is being asked in good faith so I'm not really interested in participating in this discussion with you.

I think it was because I am interested too. Plus Naomi has been nothing but respectful and civil so pretty sure it's in good faith. First and blind do have very different meanings. As someone who used that old tag a lot, I'd like to know what could replace it too :3

Mouse had some great ideas, you could use spoiler-free playthrough as an alternative short title! Or spoiler-free run, then it has freerun in it, and parkour is cool :b
