If they add difficulty modes, that's how it's intended to be played. That's why it'd make a difference and end this ridiculous discusion about 'how it's intended' - it doesn't matter.

Miki, I couldn't do it with my effort and experience. I can't imagine the difficulty for those with other barriers. Yes, you die a lot. But if you can *never* beat that first boss, you won't enjoy the game. You claim not to be, but you're gatekeeping and rejecting accessibility

Why is this even an argument rn difficulty should not be mandatory games like doom is just about the best example i can think of for a good difficultly range, you can play from beginner to the whole fps genre all the way up to pro. It allows anyone to see and enjoy the whole game

Another great example is dying light the game difficulty never gets that hard but the concept of making a "story mode difficulty" should be applied to any game with a great story lore or gameplay in general
