Yes and no, mostly no; They don't do anything to strengthen your core or fix the underlying issue of bad posture - They simply force your shoulders back. I've been working out a lot and going for walks daily, but last night at dinner I forgot good posture and leaned forward for-

10 minutes, reinjuring my back. So I need the posture corrector so that I simply never forget, until my back is healed again. If you are not currently experiencing excruciating back pain due to bad posture, I don't recommend it at all.

The best thing to do is to work out, focus on your core support, breathing properly, maybe set frequent reminders on your phone for good posture. these correctors are like putting a Band-Aid on a broken bone, but that's kind of what I need right now for my pain.
