Do you ever just listen to decade-old Skrillex while making eggs with jam, clad in a bathrobe, at 5am? i-

An omelette in it's most basic form. Beat the eggs, put 'em on the pan over coconut oil or unsalted butter, cover, and put on your favourite jam when it's done. If you're not basic, add sugar, salt, milk, and 1-2 teaspoons of flour to your eggs, and beat heartily. Fluffy omlette

But why is there jam on it? That almost-chicken died for no reason at all!!! It was justified when the egg was going to feed people but now ... That chicken died on vain!!! Hence jam on eggs = murder.

Sweet omelets are very much a thing, as is bread with cheese and jam. Cheddar goes particularly well with chunky strawberry. I believe it's more of a European thing though - Americans don't seem to explore sweet and savoury too far beyond pineapple pizza and charcuterie boards

But eggs on their own aren't even savoury. They do go well with jams, syrups, and a variety of other things one might want to consume for breakfast. Especially when cooked on coconut oil.
