And cars, their sales, driver's licences, driving on the road, insurance, are all way more regulated than guns. You can't just buy any car, get in, and drive off. There should be gun licenses, mental health checks, etc. Not just.. go to a gun show, grab one and go shoot stuff.
Or because there are plenty of people who don't want to live in fear, don't want to live carrying around a gun, don't like guns... Don't want to have to think about whether or not they might be in a fight for their lives every time they leave the house. How awful that would be.

That "reality" of mass shootings that have recently been on an upward trend is due to weak outdated laws and certain guns citizens shouldn't have access to. So many countries don't have this "reality" or these shootings and those people do just fine. Which, again, is the point.

Right, scary people who have easy access to guns thanks to the laws. You just skip in circles around the point. Every country has psychos. But only in America do those psychos get guns more easily than a car. Regulation would fix that.
