I love hiking and looking out from viewpoints, or seeing waterfalls, but there's something so calming about lakes and seas

seeing a view of open hills in Jamaica at an out of the way village, mountains in west virginia. many a video game landscape. this picture here is a great view of landscape. mt. washington overlooks here in pittsburgh are great to experience.

I was driving home along the coast, and the clouds broke to have shafts of light cascading down over the ocean. Full on God rays as far as you could see. I had to pull over and get a closer look, and it lasted a good ten minutes. This was 17 years ago and nothing’s beat it.
