Sometimes wasps get trapped between my glass balcony doors. Mini wasp murder rampages tinged by mild fear ensue. Today a big fat bumble bee with pollen pants got trapped. IT WAS SO CUTE AND FUZZY. It buzzed like "hep, hep me" so I set it free and it bumbled along I LOVE BEES

I generally get shot at like once a year while covering a riot and there is nothing in the world that gets my adrenaline going faster than something -- ANYTHING -- buzzing close to my ear.

First off, I'm sorry because that's terrifying. Very grateful to have never been shot at but a wasp traumatized tiny me. If it's a horsefly and you're already halfway to escaping it, a good reflex to have! If it's a chubby fuzzy bee, the relaxation afterwards rivals a hot bath

Saw a bumblebee hovering near the head of a door I was about to walk through. It was cute and left it alone. Before that a few hornets flew near the open window of the u-haul I was in and I backhanded them away from me into a wall. Construction glove covered hand. They flew away.
