      It hurts when people tweet things like this and so many people respond with “I think they were trying to compliment you.” IT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT. It’s controlling and objectifying to women. 😤

      I guess the mentality is "I guess she feels like she "needs" make up to look pretty" so shining white knights say the comment to let her know she is pretty already. But most women wear make up, not to look pretty per se, but to accentuate their beauty even further. I get it now.

      Also, those two are very different,yet he uses them in tandem. Interesting. I want to pick your brain a little. Why was it offensive? I can take a guess of course. But humor me; was it the wash face part of it? Or the meaning of the message in general?
