      There is no joke. This isn't telling me I look good. This is a guy telling me what I should do with my face, my body, my appearance. Especially in how he says it, he is essentially demanding it. He has absolutely no right. "Go change how you look now, because I prefer it."

      So if someone came up to you, said to you "Your outfit sucks, go change into something more revealing because I like your body" you would be flattered, rather than insulted that they're telling you what to do and basically saying you aren't good enough for them? Self worth????

      Idk about never. In some cases I think some people make suggestions in good taste but just don’t realise the impact/context of what they’re saying. In this case it was still put across poorly either way and rightfully called out though.
