It hurts when people tweet things like this and so many people respond with “I think they were trying to compliment you.” IT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT. It’s controlling and objectifying to women.
O o f. It hurts most when women say that because you know then that they constantly get negged and defend the people doing the abuse :(

Hmm, I didn't realize girls thought this way about those kinds of comments. Interesting. I can almost assure you that when dudes say that, it doesn't come from a place of power or trying to objectify, they are really trying to be nice. Dually noted tho, I'll remember not to lol.
